Today I got one of those phone calls that makes the heart all giddy…
I have been hired as the Staff Photographer for the Spring 2011 Voyage of Semester at Sea. Hold on… aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! …okay, sorry… that’s better. Where was I? Right. Semester at Sea. It’s hard to know where to begin when speaking about how much I adore this program. Visit their website here for all the yummy details about this incredible study abroad opportunity for University Students.

I originally sailed in the Fall of 2008, and it was a life-changing experience. Semester at Sea is the catalyst for all the fundraising work I’m doing now – the half-marathon, the coast-to-coast cycling journey… all of it. And I am so honored to be hired back again for another run at the coolest job in the Universe. We will sail from January 12 to April 24, and visit 11 countries : Bahamas, Dominica, Brazil, Ghana, South Africa, Mauritius, India, Singapore, Viet Nam, China, Japan, Hawaii, eventually landing in San Diego, CA. The ship you see will be my home, and my vessel of transport for another circumnavigation of the globe…. and I am SO excited!
