This journey is becoming very real to the both of us now. The mountains are high. The deserts are scorching. The days are long…. and our butts are sore… The pursuit of water is constant – entire days are planned around it. We’ve been rising at 4am and riding early to beat the 100+ temps common to these deserts. Tomorrow morning we’ll leave Brawley, and head out into 80 miles of sandy desert – past the home of the Chocolate Mountain Naval Reservation Aerial Gunnery Range. We can definitely feel all the love that’s being sent our way, and we are incredibly grateful for all of you, your energy, and for this chance to do something huge and hugely important for humankind. Onward!
